15. Todd Gurley

If you’re lucky enough to latch on with some other survivors, you know that eventually your people are going to have to make a supply run. You’ll run out of Pop-Tarts and jerky and painkillers. To re-stock, you’re going to have to hit up old abandoned stores, and old abandoned stores invariably become life-or-death scrums between you and the zombies (or you and rival gangs of survivors and the zombies). Things are gonna get messy. You need people who can run. People with sure hands. People with escapability. People like Todd Gurley.

The Rams running man showed explosiveness and power in his rookie campaign, rushing for 1,106 yards in only 12 starts while only fumbling three times on 250 touches (rushes and receptions). He showed he can hit a home run out of the backfield and also scored several short yardage touchdowns that showcased his strength and resilience in finding his way into the end zone. Strong enough to break free from defensive linemen, elusive enough to juke linebackers out of their shoes, fast enough to outrun defensive backfields, Gurley is literally the most qualified person on earth to reliably carry supplies while competing with increasingly desperate survivors in an increasingly undead world. When everything around you is chaos, you need a running man.
