5) Eli Manning (New York Giants):  It’ll all come together for Eli Manning this season. He has a full array of weapons, including stud standout Odell Beckham Jr. and a healthy Victor Cruz back in the slot. Manning was third in Red Zone attempts last season with 91, and is as durable as any quarterback in the league. He’s overcome his interception woes (back to back 14 interception seasons), and thrown for 30 or more touchdowns each of the last two seasons. Rookie Sterling Shepard is creating a buzz in camp, and Manning benefits from playing in a weak passing defense division.

4)  Drew Brees (New Orleans):  Ten. That’s the number of consecutive seasons Drew Brees has attempted at least 514 passes and thrown for over 4,000 yards. Consistency is the backbone of a successful fantasy football season, and the numbers tell the whole story for Brees: second in pass attempts, deep ball attempts, completion percentage, and third in Red Zone and Deep Ball completion percentage. The only certainties in life? Death, taxes, and Drew Brees finishing as a top five fantasy quarterback.

3)  Andrew Luck (Indianapolis):  Many forget that Luck was a consensus first-round fantasy draft pick in 2015. After a myriad of injuries caused by a poor offensive line, he returns in 2016 to take his place among the league’s best signal callers. Two seasons ago, Luck finished as the number one fantasy quarterback despite having the 30th ranked offensive line (per PlayerProfiler.com). This year, the Colts are moving to three-wide receiver sets on most downs, which will provide Luck with even more scoring opportunities.  Currently being drafted at 42nd overall, Luck is a steal in all formats.

2)  Aaron Rodgers (Green Bay):  Coming off a subpar year by his standards, Rodgers is sure to return to the top of the fantasy-quarterback heap in 2016. In a year when the entire Green Bay offense struggled, Rodgers still finished as the seventh overall quarterback with 31 touchdowns and only eight interceptions. Throw in a very quarterback friendly schedule, and Rodgers is a lock for a top three fantasy quarterback finish.

1)  Russell Wilson (Seattle):  With Marshawn Lynch’s retirement, the Seahawks will turn the offensive reigns completely over to Wilson. Over the last seven games of 2015, Wilson produced 25 total touchdowns and just one interception. His running ability has produced three consecutive seasons with over 500 rushing yards. With a strong wide receiver core combined and a plethora of pass catching running backs, Wilson will claim the top fantasy quarterback spot in 2016.
