Team USA gold medalist Madison Kocian threw out the first pitch for the Texas Rangers Saturday and showed off her impressive gymnastics skills in the process.

Olympic athlete Madison Kocian is a huge Texas Rangers fan. On Saturday, Team USA’s Kocian showed off some of her gold medal-winning skills on the mound as she tossed out the first pitch for the team.

Kocian didn’t just throw the pitch to the catcher like most celebrity guests usually do. Instead, she did a handstand on the mound, came down in a somersault and then threw the ball. Not only did she complete the gymnastics move, but she threw a pretty good looking pitch across the plate too.

As mentioned, Kocian is a huge fan of the team. The Dallas Morning News reported that Kocian got to meet Beyonce last weekend at the MTV Video Music Awards show, but ranked that meeting below another. When asked, Kocian said meeting Adrian Beltre was a bigger deal.

"“That’s hard, but I’d have to go with Beltre. Beyonce was very nice and it was awesome meeting her with my teammates and presenting her award [at the VMAs], but I have to go with Beltre. I am a very big Rangers fan.”"

Kocian captured two medals in Rio winning a gold and a silver. She was part of the women’s gymnastics squad nicknamed “The Final 5” due to the fact it was the final time the team would have five members for that particular Olympics competition.

It’s clear from Kocian’s interview bit and the pitch that she threw that she really loves Rangers baseball. Her mother even told the media that throwing out the first pitch was right up there as a dream of her daughter’s – along with winning an Olympic medal.
