3. Ronda Rousey

Here’s the message displayed on the homepage of Ronda Rousey’s charity website:

"“It’s not your purpose in life to be happy, it’s your purpose in life to leave the world better than how you found it. I’m trying to do that.”"

The UFC star is as persistent in her charitable endeavors as she is fearsome inside the octagon. Rousey raises money and awareness for the Free Rice Campaign, Gompers Judo Program and Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services.

A portion of the proceeds of the 56,797 Don’t Be A DNB shirts Rousey sold went to Didi Hirsch.

Like Sherman and Cena, Rousey is another reminder that even those who accumulate wealth through sometimes violent professions can be actively engaged in spreading peace as well.
