8. Tennessee Titans

player. 35.
Protection comes first when involving a franchise quarterback. The Tennessee Titans made the right decision in that regard when they took Jack Conklin. So the next item on the agenda should be what to do about their receiving corps.

On the surface it looks like an okay group with Kendall Wright, Andre Johnson and promising rookie Tajae Sharpe. However Johnson is not the player he was five years ago while Sharpe and Wright are far from being true No. 1 targets like that. They are more complimentary No. 2 and No. 3 types.

Dorial Green-Beckham looked like a possible answer to that problem but the new coaching staff wasn’t anxious to find out. Instead the team traded him to Philadelphia. So they decided to start fresh in this draft with Clemson standout Mike Williams. Not a bad way to go either. Despite missing most of 2015 with a neck injury, he was among the top playmakers at his position prior to it. Signs point to him being healthy now. He’s 6-foot-3 with a wide catch radius and enough speed to burn corners deep if they’re caught flat-footed.
. WR . Clemson. Mike Williams . 8
