10. Kansas City Chiefs

Last championship: 1969

Last winning season: 2015

There is nothing in football quite like Arrowhead Stadium. Its level of intensity, pandemonium, fan dedication, and record-setting volume (literally, a Guinness World Record for decibels was set there once) makes it one of the most intense experiences in football.

However, it is also home to one of the most eternally frustrating franchises in sports: the Kansas City Chiefs. Because with the exception of the 1970s, the Chiefs have only once gone more than five years without a playoff appearance. Still, perhaps no team has had more perpetual heartbreak than this one, while still remaining a steadfastly competitive club.

Whether it was the Lin Elliot missed field goal in 1995 that ended the year for a dominant 13-3 team, or the improbable comeback charge led by Andrew Luck over KC in 2013, the Chiefs just cannot seem to get over the hump of greatness that such a rabidly beloved team should reach. Add in the torturous death of Derrick Thomas and the unfortunate murder-suicide of Jovan Belcher, there is more than enough ammo to say that Arrowhead could be cursed.

To summarize even further the struggle that is the life of Kansas City Chief fan, since 1990, the Chiefs have had 10 double-digit victory seasons. However, in only one of those seasons have they reached the AFC Championship Game. Hence why their Super Bowl drought has reached 47 years, despite them carrying the eighth best winning percentage in AFC history.
