The latest WWE Backlash 2016 results for The Usos vs. Hype Bros “Second Chance” match in the WWE tag team title tournament.

At Sunday’s WWE Backlash 2016 pay-per-view there was a “Second Chance” match in the tag team title tournament. The Hype Bros and The Usos competed in a chance at the final spot in the title match. The winners would go on to face Heath Slater and Rhyno for the new Smackdown tag team titles.

The Hype Bros looked more than ready to go for tonight’s big match. Mojo Rawley and Zack Ryder came busting out from backstage and were as hyped up as ever.

Ryder and Rawley were certainly rocking the ring early on. In one spot, Ryder hit a huge dropkick through the ropes to send both Usos to the ground.

Later, The Usos regained control. They isolated Zack Ryder, but he eventually managed to break away. However, Jimmy Uso tagged in quickly and knocked Mojo Rawley off the apron to prevent a hot tag.

Moments later, Ryder got away and Rawley came in to take down both of the Usos. He even hit a huge Stinger Splash at one point.

The Hype Bros looked to have momentum late in the match and set up for a double team move. However, one of the Usos yanked Rawley out of the ring to prevent it. Moments later, Ryder had a big move off the corner for a pinfall but The Usos once again broke it up.

Ryder did his best to fight off both Usos but it was to no avail. He hit a big Broski Boot but seemed to tweak his leg. Eventually, his knee was clipped by one of the Usos. A submission hold was locked onto Ryder’s hurt leg by the Usos and Ryder soon tapped out.

The Usos used a similar tactic against American Alpha. In fact, the injury to Alpha is what has The Usos still competing for the Smackdown tag titles.
