Brian Orakpo is past his prime while the secondary feature several solid players but no Pro Bowl-caliber types. Until that changes this unit isn’t going to get the respect it wants. <p>Malik McDowell is one of those defensive line types that are tough to pin down. That’s because they have a body type that fits one mold but a skill set that fits another. He’s got a long 6-foot-6 frame but weighs under 300 pounds. People aren’t sure if he’s a defensive end or a defensive tackle. Given his ability to penetrate up the field and cause havoc, one could say he’s both. McDowell can move inside and outside.
