12. Miami Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins knew they had a problem at running back even before the preseason arrived. Jay Ajayi has a history of injury problems that continue to follow him from Boise State and Lamar Miller is gone. They already attempted to sign C.J. Anderson but failed. So they were left to scoop up veteran Arian Foster, who hasn’t looked like himself the past couple years. Thus the odds are this team will be aiming for a running back early in 2017 to get some pressure off Ryan Tannehill.
For a creative play caller like Adam Gase, a versatile weapon like Christian McCaffrey is just too good to pass up. The Stanford product can do the normal running back things with power, vision and breaking tackles. What sets him apart is his speed and ability to find the end zone. It was evident in his running, his receiver and even his returning. He can do anything asked of him and would make for a deadly weapon in the right hands. The question is can he handle the pounding that comes with the job? He believes he can and is intent on proving it.
. RB. Stanford. Christian McCaffrey . 12. player. 59
