24. Cincinnati Bengals

WR. Western Michigan. Corey Davis . 24. player. 56. When a team is deep at almost every position, they can afford to draft luxury from time to time. A.J. Green remains one of the five best wide receivers in football, but beyond him who do the Cincinnati Bengals have? Question marks. Mohamed Sanu and Marvin Jones are gone. Tyler Boyd is an unproven rookie and Brandon LaFell is a serviceable veteran at this point. Nothing about this receiving corps say it’s better than the one that finished 2015.
For that reason it’s fair to believe the team will be proactive in adding more talent next year. Historically the team prefers guys with bigger bodies who are dependable, consistent and productive. Those three words have come to describe Corey Davis well. He’s got good size, strong hands and runs a diverse route tree that allows him to find different ways of getting open. Maybe not the fastest, but fast enough. He’d made a great No. 2 option across from Green.
