25. Kansas City Chiefs

Jabril Peppers . 25. player. 124. One question is going to permeate throughout the 2016 season for the Kansas City Chiefs. What is going to happen with star safety Eric Berry. At present things are somewhat settled down. He’s back with the team after missing most of the preseason and signed his franchise tag tender. That means he’s locked in for 2016. Beyond that? Impossible to tell. Pessimism reigns over whether or not he’ll return next year what with the Chiefs’ salary cap being so tight and he sure to command a hefty contract.
The team may be forced into making the difficult decision to let him walk in order to preserve their fragile pay structure. That would make getting help at safety a top priority. Jabril Peppers is still somewhat in the process of finding a permanent position at Michigan, but most feel his future is at safety. His size, length, speed and freakish athleticism could make him special there. Peppers is already a versatile weapon who has played multiple positions. Put him on the back end of that talented Chiefs unit and he could do amazing things.
. S. Michigan
