8. Atlanta Falcons

44. Vic Beasley has a lot to prove in 2016 for the Atlanta Falcons after a somewhat inconsistent rookie season. They still believe he can become their de-facto edge rusher in that defense Dan Quinn is building. Much of how their 2017 draft plans develop will depend on his progress this season. Then again, there should never be any shame in a team wanted to collect as many good pass rushers as they can. Especially ones that bring a rare level of versatility.
That is what Jonathan Allen is about. He will remind a lot of people of Michael Bennett. Not necessarily in personality but in style. Among his features include a body that looks big enough for defensive tackle but a burst and quickness that say defensive end. This allows him to move inside and outside depending on situation, creating matchup problems for the offensive line and also making it easier for teammates. The kind of rusher that sneaks up on people. By the time blockers take notice of him, it’s too late. Just a fine mix of power, technique and nastiness.
. DE. Alabama. Jonathan Allen . 8. player
