31 best fan bases in all of sports

If being a Spurs fan is the easiest job in sports, then being a Patriots fan is the second easiest. The Patriots saw Tom Brady take the field for the first time in 2001 when Drew Bledsoe got hurt against the Jets. Since then it’s been smooth sailing. Brady has a career 172-51 record as a starter, including four Super Bowl rings.
The Patriots were in the lower half of attendance last season with 66,829 fans per game, but that doesn’t mean the fans aren’t great. Anywhere you go, you can find a Patriots fan. They are spread all throughout the country. Brady and head coach Bill Belichick have built this Patriots franchise up to be the best in the NFL.
Even with Brady suspended for the first four games of the upcoming season, Gillette Stadium is sure to be rocking behind backup QB Jimmy Garoppolo. He is supposed to be the future when Brady decides to hang them up, and fans are excited to see what he can do.
No matter who starts the year, if Brady is the QB in the playoffs then the Patriots have a chance to win the Super Bowl. Fans know this and will wait for him to return. But in the mean time, all their focus and cheer will be for Garoppolo, and that is what makes these fans so loyal.
