3. Marvin Jones, WR, Detroit Lions

Marvin Jones is a personal favorite of mine this season. As an important part of the Lions’ offense, I strongly felt that Jones was being under-valued in fantasy football drafts.

Jones is a big-time talent on the outside, showing a smooth skill-set. Jones is quick and physical, while also showing great athleticism at the position. Make no mistake about it, Jones has massive upside with his great opportunity in the Lions’ offense.

In his debut game with the Lions, Jones caught four passes for 85 yards. He did not reach the end zone, but Jones did lead the team with ten targets. Matthew Stafford clearly believed in Jones as a number one target last week, and I see no reason why that should change going forward.

The Titans’ secondary is not exactly loaded with talent. You can attack them through the air, and I fully expect that to be the Lions’ plan in this game. This is an aggressive offensive attack that could put up massive numbers this week.

If Stafford and company are to have success against the Titans through the air, Marvin Jones is likely to be a major part of that. Arguably the number one receiver in this offense, Jones has strong upside in Week 2.

He is a near must start against the Titans.
