1. DeMarco Murray, RB, Tennessee Titans

The Titans made many moves this off season to adjust to a power rushing attack. DeMarco Murray, Derrick Henry and Jack Conklin just to name a few. Henry is undoubtedly a talented rookie, but Murray is going to be the one getting the most immediate fantasy value.

The Titans are determined to established a powerful rushing attack and Murray is clearly the number one guy.

Tennessee was not able to establish much of a rushing attack last week, but the Vikings’ defense is loaded with talent. They should not get discourage with the results of one game against a powerful defensive unit.

Murray only rushed for 42 yards on 13 carries, but he proved that he clearly is the number one guy over Henry (who went for three yards on five carries). Murray’s fantasy output as a runner was less than ideal, but he saved his day with two touchdown receptions from Marcus Mariota.

Against a poor Lions’ defense, I expect Murray to have much more success on the ground this week. The Titans are going to struggle to stop Stafford and the Lions’ offense, but if they can control the clock with Murray and the rushing attack, they will have a chance in this game.

Murray is the key to this game for the Titans, and I expect them to feature him early and often. Henry will play a role as well, but Murray is undoubtedly the number one guy.

Make no mistake about it, DeMarco Murray is a top-tier fantasy option at the running back position in Week 2.
