16. Could the Buffalo Bills have start their season in a worse way? After their defense supported a lackluster offense in the season opener, the offense had to support a bad defense against the Jets on Thursday night football.
Rex Ryan is now trying to save his skin by making a scapegoat out of now former offensive coordinator Greg Roman. Despite their 31 points on Thursday night, Buffalo has a -12 point differential.

On defense (which is Rex and Rob Ryans ‘specialty’) the Bills forced just one turnover, one sack, and no interceptions. The nepotism was completely obvious with the Ryan brothers, and Rob has had one of the worst defenses in the NFL nearly every season of his coordinating career.

The rushing offense will struggle without Karlos Williams. LeSean McCoy has proven to have regressed as a running back, and Buffalo has no reliable option to give him a rest. If McCoy goes down with an injury, which has happened in four of his seven NFL seasons

The offense as a whole finished 3-10 on third down conversion attempts, which ultimately killed their chances of finishing this game on top.

If the Bills could get their hands on a restart button, they would have never hired Rex Ryan, given Tyrod Taylor a massive extension, or let Karlos Williams walk out the door.

It’s very realistic the Bills don’t win a game until October 9 against the Los Angeles Rams. Buffalo plays the Arizona Cardinals next week, and then face their arch nemesis Bill Belichick in New England.
. 0-2. Previous: . Buffalo Bills. 29. team
