14. Dallas Cowboys

123. Dallas should have a better record than they did in 2015 thanks to the stabilizing presence of Dak Prescott at quarterback. However, this team still has way too many problems to think they’re ready to get back to the playoffs. More likely they’ll hover around 8-8, win some tough games but then lose some as well. It’s really a matter of weaknesses that just can’t be covered for 16 weeks.
The state of their pass rush says it all. Rod Marinelli functions at his best when he can send waves of pass rushers at his opponents. Dallas has lost three key guys in the space of a few months. Greg Hardy left in free agency. Demarcus Lawrence is suspended two more weeks and Randy Gregory might not be back this season due to two different suspensions for league violations on substance abuse.

Suffice to say this front needs another body in the pass rush rotation. The Florida State defensive end checks the boxes of what a team looks for. He’s got the strength and arm length to hold the edge against the run. Then when it’s time to rush he cuts loose with aggressiveness and violent hands. Getting into the backfield is becoming his specialty.
. DE. Florida State. DeMarcus Walker . 14. player
