Tobias Harris-Power Forward

If I had to pick one player in my Pistons fantasy basketball preview to have a breakout season, Harris would be my pick. He was excellent after joining the Pistons as a trade deadline acquisition.

After joining Detroit, he averaged 16.6 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per contest in his 27 games with the Pistons. Once Detroit made the playoffs, Harris struggled against the Cavs before finishing strong with 23 points and 13 rebounds in Game 4, the final game of Detroit’s season.

At times, Harris tends to be streaky, but he’s seemed on the verge of figuring things out for a while. He is a nightly double-double threat and his good range makes him a nice fit in Detroit’s offense. He spent the offseason working on his three-point shot which could be a huge boost to his fantasy basketball value if that work translates to in-game production.

I like Harris a lot this year. If you can get him in the ninth round (current ADP) of your fantasy basketball drafts, he could end up being a great value. He definitely will be a lot of my DFS lineups as well since his 20-10 potential on any given night usually comes at a very affordable rate.
