6. Bret Bielema

Bret Bielema was once the captain of the Iowa Hawkeyes football team. Playing as a defensive lineman, Bielema was a tough guy enforcer in the interior of the Hawkeyes line. In fact, Bielema has a tattoo of the Iowa Hawkeye on his calf.

Bielema made his head coaching debut at Wisconsin, which turned his Iowa tattoo into a big topic of discussion. A dominating presence even now, Bielema has the look of someone who is ready to punch you in the face at the drop of a hat. During his time with the Badgers, Bielema won three Big Ten titles, and was the 2006 Big Ten Coach of the Year.

A standup guy, Bielema left the Badgers for a couple of reasons. One cool reason was the fact that he thought his assistants were not being paid enough money. In a business where everyone is out for money, it was awesome to see Bielema stand up for his assistants. Noble as that is, Arkansas also threw a bunch of money at him, and he’s now the highest paid person in the state.

Bielema is one of the biggest characters in the game, and you can tell just by looking at him that he would be a blast to party with. He’s an intense person, and he looks like the kind of guy that would challenge to you to drinking games all night long.
