19. Matt Campbell

Matt Campbell is one of the youngest coaches in college football, and at only 36 years old, is already in his sixth season as a head coach. After leading the Toledo Rockets to a 35-15 record during his five-year run as head coach, he was named the main man at Iowa State prior to the 2016 season.

During his time at Toledo, Campbell actually led the Rockets to a spot in the AP Poll, peaking at No. 20 in 2015. He declined an opportunity to serve on Urban Meyer’s staff at Ohio State, and instead inked the deal to captain the Cyclones. His new team is off to an 0-3 start in 2016, but Campbell should be able to right the ship.

To those outside of the college football world, Campbell looks like any guy in his mid-30s trying to make a name for himself in the world. The fact of the matter is that he is a very good coach, who is going to put Iowa State back on the map. He has a great passion for the game, which likely comes from being a coach’s son.

Campbell already has a wealth of knowledge about the college football game, and would be fun to grab a bunch of beers with. Whether at a bar, or a party, I would imagine that Campbell fits right in with the crowd.
