Miami Dolphins defense vs Browns

The Dolphins defense has been so-so in the first two weeks of the season, but they can definitely be used as a nice streaming option in fantasy football week 3 based on their great matchup against Cleveland. Miami comes home for the first time this season as they welcome in the Browns. Cleveland will be starting their third quarterback in as many weeks, and they should be a nice matchup in Miami’s home opener.

Last week, the Dolphins defense looked really bad in the first half against Jimmy Garoppolo, but they rebounded in the second half allowing just ten points to the Patriots. They ended up with a pair of sacks and a forced fumble, but they still fell short in their comeback attempt in New England. The loss dropped them to 0-2 after they actually looked good holding the Seahawks to just 12 points in Week 1.

Miami’s defense has been inconsistent, but they should be set up for success as they take on Cleveland. The Browns will be forced to go with Cody Kessler who they drafted in the third round last year. Just a few days ago, Adam Schefter reported that Kessler was “not close to being ready to play.” Well, now he has to start, and that makes the Dolphins defense my matchup play of the week for fantasy football week 3.
