1. Utah vs. Colorado will be for Pac-12 South Crown

Remember when the Los Angeles schools were supposed to dominate the Pac-12 South this year? Well they have both been huge disappointments and they keep digging the graves of their coaches with each passing game.

There have been two bright spots in the conference and it’s the teams that share the Rocky Mountains. Utah has been dynamic through four games and pulled off an impressive win in Week 4 against USC. With the win, Utah is tied for the lead in the Pac-12 South with the Arizona State Sun Devils.

However, there has been one beautiful surprise in the conference and it’s the Colorado Buffaloes. The lowly Buffaloes have taken much abuse ever since they joined the conference and on Saturday, the team finally got their statement win since joining.

They went on the road and defeated the Oregon Ducks and left the crowd stunned. They have the talent on both ends of the football to compete in a bad Pac-12 South and this might be the year where the two mountain teams play for the South at the end of the season when they meet each other. It would be a beautiful change of scenery in the conference.
