Loser: Georgia Bulldogs (No. 12 down to No. 25)

Georgia is one of those teams that looks to be in a rebuilding year, but it’s masked by a five-star freshman quarterback in Jacob Eason as well as a Heisman-level running back by the name of Nick Chubb. The Bulldogs have a new head coach as well in former Alabama defensive coordinator Kirby Smart.

Eason had another rough day against Ole Miss, however, leading the No. 12 Bulldogs to a 45-14 defeat. He completed just 16-of-36 passes for 137 yards and an interception. His accuracy has been an issue early on and the staff may have rushed him into the starting role a bit too soon — too late to turn back now.

While he’s getting his bumps and bruises under center, junior running back Nick Chubb is also struggling. He was putting up crazy numbers through the first couple of weeks since returning from a knee injury last season, but he has looked much more pedestrian lately.

Chubb rushed for just 57 yards on 12 carries while freshman Brian Herrien was the top performer on offense, running the ball 11 times for 78 yards and two scores.

It’s time for this team to figure out a quick fix before the AP Poll doesn’t even consider it worthy the rest of the season.
