After a 19-play drive (!) from Arkansas that ended in no points, Texas A&M quarterback Trevor Knight wasted little time in making the Razorbacks pay for it.

If you’re the Arkansas Razorbacks and you go on a 19-play drive that took up almost 10 minutes of game time, you’d expect a touchdown, right? That’s not what happened against Texas A&M on Saturday night and Trevor Knight made them pay for it.

The Aggies shut the Hogs down near the goal line — a common trend on Saturday night — and Knight and the Texas A&M offense took over on downs.

It didn’t take long for the Aggies to get out of the shadow of their own endzone.

Cue Trevor Knight throwing a deep ball to Josh Reynolds for a 92-yard touchdown pass.

Like they have all night long on Saturday, Texas A&M burns Arkansas on another huge play. Knight has two long touchdown runs against the Razorback defense and now a 92-yard touchdown gave the Aggies the lead heading into the fourth quarter.

The game’s far from over — especially with these two teams going at it — but A&M sits on top with just a quarter to go. It’s been a back-and-forth affair on Saturday night inside AT&T Stadium in Arlington, and it’s lived up to the hype.

For Knight, it’s not launching him into the Heisman Trophy race, but it’s a game that he’s been able to show off his dual-threat ability and experience. He’s made big play after big play against the Hogs and Arkansas hasn’t had too many answers for him.

As for the Hogs, it’s simple. Finish off a drive and you might win this game. The problem is — at least for tonight — it’s easier said than done against a new-and-improved Aggie defense.
