The New Orleans Saints will play their NFC South rival in the Atlanta Falcons on Monday Night Football in Week 3. Here are the inactives for this game.

The last game on the Week 3 slate in the NFL will be against two southern rivals when the Atlanta Falcons travel to the Big Easy to play the New Orleans Saints on Monday Night Football. Kickoff from the Mercedes-Benz Superdome will be at 8:30 PM ET. ESPN will have the telecast.

Atlanta enters the game at 1-1 after beating the Oakland Raiders in Week 2, 35-28. The Falcons dropped their home opener to the division rival Tampa Bay Buccaneers at home in Week 1, 31-24. With a win over the Saints, the Falcons can move into first place in the NFC South at 2-1 entering Week 4.

New Orleans is one of only a few teams left in the NFL without a win this season. The Saints might be 0-2, but have lost by a combined four points. New Orleans fell at home to the Raiders in Week 1, 35-34. The Saints stumbled on the road against the New York Giants in Week 2, 16-13.

Neither NFC South team has an elite defense. Expect a good, old-fashioned southern shootout on Monday night. This rivalry game features two Pro Bowl level quarterbacks in Matt Ryan for the Falcons and Drew Brees for the Saints. These games between Atlanta and New Orleans usually come down to the final possession.

New Orleans will be without wide receiver Willie Snead, who is battling a toe injury. The Saints could have as many as four starters out with injuries.

Atlanta’s best player wide receiver Julio Jones is questionable with an ankle injury, but Falcons head coach Dan Quinn would be shocked if he doesn’t play on Monday Night Football. Here are the inactives for this game:
