1-2. Previous: 20th. Indianapolis Colts. 19. team. 46. The Indianapolis Colts fail to live up to expectations year in and year out. Last season they had a valid excuse with no Andrew Luck most of the year, but this year is supposed to be different.
Another comeback win in Andrew Luck’s pocket will fare well for the Colts going forward. According to ESPN Stats and Information, “Andrew Luck had his 14th career game-winning drive, tied for the 4th-most in the NFL since he entered the league in 2012. Luck had his second game with at least 300 passing yards this season, matching his total from last season.”

The comeback wins is an impressive stat, but the Colts should not be in that situation to begin with. They need to improve on defense and balance the offense with some rushing attacks.

Indianapolis took advantage of the San Diego Chargers turning the ball over three times and having 10 penalties accounting for 80 yards.

When looking at Pro Football Focus, nearly all of the Colts starters on defense are rated below average. Mike Adams received the highest rating among the bunch, while Robert Mathis and Rashaan Melvin stayed above water.

The rest of the defense all fell into the red category on Pro Football Focus’s rating scale.

Indianapolis will now have to fly overseas to face the Jacksonville Jaguars in London. Only time will tell what kind of affect the long flight and time changes will have on either team on Sunday.
