team. 26. Who could have expected the Baltimore Ravens to start the first three weeks of the season undefeated after an uncharacteristic season last year. Sunday was not the prettiest of games for either the Ravens or their opponents from Jacksonville. Joe Flacco threw two interceptions, but a Blake Bortles interception on the final play of the game sealed the Ravens victory.

Most impressive has been that the Ravens have won two of their three games on the road.

Baltimore is still trying to figure out their situation at running back. Terrance West got the bulk of the carries and had just 45 yards on the ground. Justin Forsett, who the Ravens cut then resigned in the preseason, had just 20 yards after seven carries.

Old-man Steve Smith Sr. has returned with dominance after tearing his achillies tendon last season. Smith Sr. had a game high eight catches and 87 receiving yards primarily matching up against Jalen Ramsey, the Jaguars first round pick.

Terrell Suggs is also back from injury (see a theme here) and had two sacks in the victory, while Lawrence Guy and Timmy Jernigan also dropped Blake Bortles.

Zachary Orr, Tavon Young, and C.J. Mosley each had an interception against Bortles, with Orr having the final pass attempt by Bortles end up in his hands.

I’m still not fully bought into the Ravens this year, evident by their ranking. They beat the Bills by just six points, and the Browns by five. This game was won despite a rough Flacco performance.

Baltimore can prove me wrong when they host the Oakland Raiders next Sunday.
. 3-0. Previous: 16th. Baltimore Ravens. 13
