There is not much you can expect from the Bears at this point. John Fox’s team has been a mess across the board, whether it be on offense, defense, or coaching. For just the second time in franchise history, the team will start back-to-back seasons without a win in September.

Time management was an issue towards the end of their loss to the Cowboys on Sunday night. Chicago utilized its final timeout just five seconds after the two-minute warning, giving them little opportunity to succeed if the game somehow got close.

Defensively they could not contain rookies Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott. Prescott threw for nearly 250 yards and a touchdown, while Elliott had 140 on the ground.

Offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains surely won’t see the end of the season in Chicago with raw playcalling. In all fairness he does not have an MVP-caliber quarterback to work with, but from this standpoint he has to be better. Fox needs to find his fall guy, and Loggains could be it.

With Jay Cutler out with a thumb injury, fans had to endure a game full of Brian Hoyer. In the box score he looked impressive with two touchdowns and over 300 yards passing. Anyone who started him in fantasy this week should be happy. On the field however, Hoyer was, well, Brian Hoyer. In one of their final drives, I’m all but certain he strip sacked himself after tripping over his own feet.

Chicago will look for their first win of the year against Detroit next week at home.
. 0-3. Previous: 30th. Chicago Bears. 30. team. 57
