Previous: 28th. New Orleans Saints. 26. team. 15. Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints could easily be walking into Monday Night Football undefeated. They’ve lost by a combined four points this season, failing to see either the offense or defense when needed.
Monday will mark the 10th anniversary of the Saints return to the Superdome following the tragic events surrounding Hurricane Katrina. Steve Gleason’s blocked punt will be played countless times heading into the rematch against the Atlanta Falcons, who were the same opponents who lost in the reopening of the Superdome.

Head coach Sean Payton has a challenge ahead of him, trying to downplay the emotions of Mondays anniversary and focus more on beating the Atlanta Falcons.

Drew Brees, Jahri Evans, Roman Harper, and Zach Strief are the only remaining players who were present for the iconic game 10 years ago. Still, it’s something that has become a symbol of the city, and with their oldest rival in town, the Saints need to be ready.

New Orleans needs to balance the offense if they wish to get back into the race. Brees has made 86 passing attempts, while running back Mark Ingram has just 21 carries.

On defense the Saints need to tighten down the hatches. They allowed over 400 yards of offense to the New York Giants last week, and will be facing another tough group of offensive weapons on the Falcons.
. 0-2
