3. Oakland Raiders at Baltimore Ravens

This is one of the more interesting games of the season to this point. Baltimore is sitting at 3-0 and could be one of the surprise teams in the AFC, with most expecting it to be mediocre. Many still see the Ravens as exactly that, having beaten the Bills, Jaguars and Browns all by less than a touchdown.

Baltimore is going to have a chance to silence some of the critics even further this Sunday, when it hosts the Raiders. Oakland is 2-1 and while it has not played well to this point, the talent is there for a playoff team to form. At some point, Jack Del Rio has to get his club to play a full 60 minutes on both sides of the ball. If the Raiders plan on beating the Ravens, it’ll have to be this week.

The key to this game will be Oakland finally finding its pass rush. Khalil Mack and Bruce Irvin have gotten off to extremely slow starts. If Joe Flacco has time and space in the pocket, he’ll expose a weak secondary with targets such as Mike Wallace and Steve Smith Sr. This could come down to the end.
