Kim Kardashian is struggling after being robbed at gunpoint in Paris.

Kim Kardashian is shaken up after being tied up and robbed at gunpoint in Paris earlier this week. The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star is said to be “emotionally damaged” as a result of the shocking crime.

According to a report from E! Online,  Kim Kardashian is going to need some time before she can move past the horrific and traumatizing event that happened to her.

"“This is something that has the potential to screw anyone up for a very long time. It was incredibly frightening and it’s going to take a while to get over it. She’s still in shock that this happened. This was terrifying and it’s going to be a process to get over it.”"

Thankfully, Kim Kardashian’s mother, Kris Jenner, was in Paris with her after the attack. “Ultimately, though, she is so grateful her kids were not there,” the insider added.  Kim reportedly begged the robbers for her life, telling them that she had babies at home that needed her. The thieves, who are said to have worn ski masks, did leave Kim physically unharmed, but took millions of dollars worth of jewelry with them.

Kim Kardashian and her husband Kanye West have beefed up their security team since the attack. Kim is reportedly staying at the couple’s New York City apartment, where the security team is standing guard. Meanwhile, Kanye has rescheduled two of his upcoming Saint Pablo Tour dates to keep close to his frightened wife.

Keeping Up With the Kardashians cameras were reportedly not rolling during the Paris trip, but it seems likely that Kim may share her story, when she’s ready, on the family’s reality series.
