31. New York Giants

Raekwon McMillan . 31. player. 31. After a strong start it seems Ben McAdoo doesn’t have all the answers to the New York Giants and their problems. Once 2-0, they’ve since lost two-straight and sit behind the Eagles and Cowboys for command of the NFC East. Odell Beckham is becoming a sideshow that can’t control his emotions. Worse yet the defense that had millions upon millions of dollars poured into it doesn’t seem any better off than where it was last season.
Where are the problems then? Everywhere really. The pass rush still isn’t getting home. The secondary isn’t covering well enough. Pretty much the only thing they’ve been able to do is stop the run. One area though that could use some serious work is their linebacking corps. It’s an uninspiring group at present who are good for making some tackles and doing little else. Few playmakers inhabit that position. A far cry from years ago.

Raekwon McMillan could be their first step in the right direction. He has everything a team looks for: size, range, aggressiveness, and stopping power. He’s a very good run defender already and has the capacity to impact plays in the passing game. Ohio State has played really well on defense since he became their primary guy at inside linebacker. He leads by example and can be dangerous when allowed to attack.
. ILB. Ohio State
