5. San Francisco 49ers

Miami Fl.. Brad Kaaya . 5. player. 42. Week after week the San Francisco 49ers are competitive in their games but just can’t seem to get over the hump. After dominating the Rams in the opener, they’ve lost three-straight games and are fading fast. Now NaVorro Bowman, their heart and soul is out for the season again. Chip Kelly has his work cut out for him if they’re going to turn things around, but the odds are not in his favor at this point.
Not with the sad state the quarterback position is in for them. Colin Kaepernick is a dead issue. It’s clear at this point the 49ers are simply playing out a string with him. As for Blaine Gabbert, he’s had ample opportunity to show he deserves the job. So far the results are underwhelming in every sense of the word. He had numerous opportunities against Dallas that were wasted. He may be the best the team has right now, but he’s not their future.

That is why the team selects Brad Kaaya 5th overall. Some will be nervous about the Miami product going that high, but the fact is he’s rated one of the best in the draft for a reason. He’s got the size and arm strength teams look for. His mental makeup is one of intelligence, calm and steadiness under fire. When given proper protection he can stand in the pocket and pick defenses apart.
. QB
