  1.  In San Diego’s last two home games against the Oakland Raiders, Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers has averaged 264.5 passing yards, two touchdowns and one interceptions. This translates to 21.1 fantasy points per game.
  2. In San Diego’s last two road games against Oakland, Rivers has averaged 295 passing yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions. This translates to 25.4 fantasy points per game.
  3. Rivers is the seventh best fantasy quarterback so far this season. He leads the position in Red Zone Pass Attempts (32), and has the eighth easiest remaining schedule for fantasy quarterbacks. (PlayerProfiler.com)
  4. The Raiders currently have the worse statistical defense in the NFL. The are allowing over 460 total yards per game. Oakland ranks 31st in rushing yards allowed per game (134.5 ypg), and 32nd in passing yards allowed per game (325.5 ypg).
  5. Chargers running back Melvin Gordon failed to score a touchdown in 2015. Currently, Gordon is first among all running backs in red zone carries (20) and total touchdowns (six).
  6. Wide Receiver Tyrell Williams is currently third among all wide receivers in both Yards After Catch (160), and Red Zone Receptions (Five). (PlayerProfiler.com)

Prediction:  Despite losing Keenan Allen and Danny Woodhead for the season, Rivers continues to defy the odds as a top eight quarterback. He will produce a top-five fantasy quarterback stat line in Oakland on Sunday.  Rivers uses that eighth easiest rest of season schedule to rank as a top five fantasy quarterback for the remainder of the season.
