Five ways Tom Brady can stick it to NFL commissioner Roger Goodell
By Adam Jacobs
1. Refuse future accolades and appearances
If Brady really wants to hurt the NFL all he has to do is refuse all future accolades. He won’t be accepting the invitation to the Pro Bowl or any other award the NFL gives out. By ignoring the praise by the NFL and Goodell, he has the upper hand. The NFL thrives because of its star power and if he refuses to accept any award, he is turning his back on the NFL.
I want to see Brady refuse to do press conferences, talk to reporters or make statements in general. The NFL has policies in place to prevent these types of actions but I think Brady can afford any fines levied. I want complete radio silence like when Marshawn Lynch would only give one-word answers to questions during his press conferences.
If the NFL wants Brady to do any special appearances or promotions, he should refuse. Why should he help them make money when all Goodell tried to do was harm his reputation? Brady should take this personal, as I believe Goodell had a grudge against Brady and the Patriots.
