team. 26. Recap: John Harbaugh’s team drove 75 yards on nine plays to take a 7-0 first-quarter lead over the visiting Washington Redskins. But the Ravens offense did little for the remainder of the game as Baltimore took a 10-6 lead after two quarters and never scored another point. Baltimore wound up with 306 yards of total offense and really struggled on third down against the Redskins, finishing 3-of-15 on the afternoon in that department. Add in the fact that Joe Flacco and mates were 1-of-3 on fourth downs and the inability to sustain drives proved to be this team’s undoing on Sunday.
Next Week: The Ravens face an NFC East for the second straight Sunday. And they are back on the road for the first time since Week 3 as they make the short trip to MetLife Stadium to face the New York Giants. The franchises square off for the first time since 2012.

Playoff hopes: After opening with three wins, the Ravens have dropped back-to-back home games and suddenly find themselves one game behind the Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC North. They’re right in the thick of things in the conference despite the recent slump.
. 3-2. Previous: . Baltimore Ravens. 21
