Kansas City Chiefs. 12. team. 124. When last we saw the Kansas City Chiefs, they were being thoroughly embarrassed by the explosive Pittsburgh Steelers in prime time. The 43-14 setback saw the club fall behind 22-0 in the first quarter as Ben Roethlisberger threw three of what would be five touchdown passes in the convincing win. So far it’s been a home hit and a road miss for the Chiefs. They’re unbeaten at Arrowhead Stadium, victories over the Chargers and Jets, but have been outscored a combined 62-26 in losses at Houston (19-12) and at Pittsburgh (43-14).
Next Week: Following an off week, Andy Reid’s club travels to the Bay Area and face a Raiders’ team that they have beaten in three straight and five of the last clubs’ last six meetings between the clubs. The Chiefs are just 3-3 in their last six road trips in this series but did win a year ago at Oakland in Week 13 (34-20).

Playoff hopes: Andy Reid’s team currently sits in third place in the AFC West but this is a division that is pretty bunched up at the moment. But it is worth noting that those conference losses to the Texans and Steelers could wind up being issues should the Chiefs fail to win the division this season.
. 2-2. Previous:
