4. Mark Helfrich

The Oregon Ducks are in a downward spiral. After starting the season 2-0, the Ducks have lost four straight games and could be in store for one of their worst seasons in a long time. There is a very real chance that this team doesn’t finish with a winning record or make a bowl game.

They have been blown out the last two weeks and if they lose this week, it’s time to stick a fork in their chances of having a winning season. It will also be time to stick a fork in Mark Helfrich as well.

His fate might honestly already be sealed. His teams have continued to regress each season and he can’t rely on the talent that Chip Kelly brought in anymore. If Oregon wants to stay afloat and a contender down the line, they have to go for a big name.

If the Ducks drop one on the road against California this week, which is a strong possibility, don’t be surprised if Helfrich is let go real soon. His team is just not very good and lacks talent at a lot of positions.
