Mike Wallace-Baltimore Ravens

The Ravens offense started out playing pretty well as they went 3-0, but the last two weeks have been a struggled and Baltimore decided to make a change at Offensive Coordinator as a result. Marc Trestman is out and Marty Mornhinweg is now at the controls.

One of the main frustrations with Trestman was that he didn’t take enough deep shots down the field like Joe Flacco likes to do and has had success at int he past. Mornhinweg is known for being much more aggressive with long passes which should open things up for Mike Wallace to re-emerge as a good fantasy play today. Another factor which helps Wallace’s potential to emerge as one of the WR sleepers of the day is that Steve Smith Sr. is doubtful for today with a sprained ankle.

Wallace was dealing with a chest injury of his own earlier this week in practice but returned to full practice Thurday and Friday. The last two weeks, Wallace had been targeted ten and 11 times, and if Flacco is given the freedom to air the ball out a little bit more the two could connect on big plays against the Giants today.

New York gave up a pair of WR touchdowns last week to the Packers, and Mike Wallace owners are hoping he can get into the end zone against them today. Wallace is one of my favorite WR sleepers today for both DFS or WR2 use.
