Jaelen Strong-Houston Texans

In somewhat surprising news, it looks like rookie sensation Will Fuller will miss Sunday Night Football against the Colts. Fuller had been limited by a hamstring all week, but it wasn’t until early this AM that Adam Schefter broke the news:

With Fuller out, Lamar Miller and DeAndre Hopkins should be set up for huge games, but another player who could emerge as one of the WR sleepers to take a look at this week is second-year receiver Jaelen Strong.

Strong has hauled in five catches in each of the last two weeks for 31 and 39 yards against the Titans and Vikings. He hasn’t gotten into the end zone yet this season, but he did catch three touchdown passes last year. Strong will likely step up as the team’s no. 2 receiver tonight in a good matchup against the Colts.

Indianapolis’s secondary has been inconsistent throughout the season, and last week they were stung by Cameron Meredith. Strong could end up with pretty solid numbers if he gets the looks tonight against Indy, so take a flier on him in DFS or if you need a waiver wire flier for today.
