57. The woeful Bears proved once again they are in need of a complete facelift. Losing to the Jaguars at Soldier Field should never happen, regardless who the quarterback is. Brian Hoyer attempted 49 passes, connecting on 30 of them without a touchdown. Second year wide receiver Cameron Meredith had a game-high 11 catches and 113 yards through the air. Meanwhile at running back, rookie Jordan Howard averaged just 2.3 yards per carry and had the Bears lone touchdown. The rest of the points came off the foot of Connor Barth, who connected on three field goals and an extra-point.
Next Week: Chicago has been marred by mediocrity for years, and this season proves to be no better. John Fox will have a short week to prepare his team for Thursday Night Football at Lambeau Field. The Bears are in for a long stretch of weeks with another prime-time game coming on Halloween against the Vikings.

Playoff hopes: Cue the Jim Mora soundbite! Playoffs? Don’t talk about playoffs! You kidding me, the Bears just hope they can win a game. With one win in six games, the Bears could be looking at a new quarterback and coaching staff in 2017 when all is said and done.
. 1-5. Previous: . Chicago Bears. 30. team
