team. 36. After blowing a 14-point lead in the third quarter, the Seahawks rebounded to win their third straight game of the season. They scored nine points during their final two offensive drives, scoring a touchdown but having the extra point attempt blocked. Seattle’s trademark defense forced two turnovers by the Falcons to put the game away with a late field goal at the two minute warning. Despite a fairly even game, the Seahawks were more disciplined and had zero turnovers. Russell Wilson drove the ball down the field, and Christine Michael had two rushing touchdowns. Rookie Alex Collins scored his first career touchdown on a two-yard run in the first half.
Next Week: The Seahawks will travel south away from their friendly confines of CenturyLink Stadium to play the Cardinals in primetime. A Sunday Night Football showdown between the two NFC West powerhouses will either grow Seattle’s lead or give Arizona a chance to bounce back. Carson Palmer is expected to start against a Seahawks defense that lost Michael Bennett to a sore knee midway through Sundays game.

Playoff hopes: Next week will give the Seattle the opportunity to bounce back into playoff contention. They will need Kam Chancellor and Thomas Rawls to return soon, but Rawls is expected to be out with a leg injury for a couple more weeks. Having those two back will make an already strong Seahawks team even more dangerous down the stretch.
. 4-1. Previous: . Seattle Seahawks. 3
