Previous: . Minnesota Vikings. 1. team. 60. Minnesota goes on their bye week at the perfect time as the only undefeated team remaining in the NFL. Riddled with injuries this season, the Vikings and quarterback Sam Bradford have somehow made-do. The Vikings are hoping to get Stefon Diggs back from a groin injury, and working-in some recent additions to help get past the injuries. Veteran offensive lineman Jake Long was signed after Andre Smith was placed on injured reserve with a torn tricep. The tight end position is also an issue with all four of their players have been working through injuries. Undrafted free agent Kyle Carter was signed to the practice squad in case Kyle Rudolph goes down again.
Next Week: The Vikings travel to Philadelphia to face Sam Bradford’s former team. Philadelphia and Minnesota helped each other take a dramatic step forward in their programs with the preseason trade that allowed Carson Wentz to start full-time. Sunday will be the first time the two teams face-off since week 15 in 2014 when the Vikings won 48-30.

Playoff hopes: The Vikings will come out of their bye week in first place in the NFC North with the Packers trailing right behind them. Barring a dramatic, injury-infused collapse, the Vikings are well on their way to the playoffs and earning an early bye week as the number one team.
. 5-0
