3-3. Previous: . Tennessee Titans. 26. team. 35. The Titans had lost to the Cleveland Browns in each of the two previous seasons and in the waning moments of Sunday’s game it looked like it may happen again. But Marcus Mariota and company proved to be too much for a Cleveland defensive unit that once again gave up three scores through the air. The Titans quarterback also threw for 284 yards and the Tennessee offense rolled up 407 total yards by game’s end. After holding on for a two-point victory, this club is riding a two-game winning streak for the first time since capturing their final two contests of the 2013 season.
Next Week: Mike Mularkey’s improving team is back home for the second straight Sunday and takes on the division rival Indianapolis Colts. The Titans have dropped nine straight in this series dating back to the club’s second meeting in 2011, including a pair of tilts last season decided by a combined eight points.

Playoff hopes: The improving Titans are right in the mix and look like a team that is growing in confidence. The team now owns a 2-2 record in the conference but is 0-1 within the division. But starting next Sunday Tennessee will host the Colts and Jaguars in the span of five days and need to take advantage of the opportunity.
