59. Wow. Thanks to 204 yards rushing and a pair of touchdowns from second-year running back Jay Ajayi and a Miami defense that picked off Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger twice, Adam Gase’s club cooled off Mike Tomlin’s hot offense and limited Pittsburgh to only 15 points. A much-maligned offensive front dominated the game and did not give up a sack while paving the way for 222 yards on the ground. The Dolphins ran 68 offensive plays, gained 474 total yards, did not commit a turnover and controlled the clock for 36:30 in the convincing upset. Miami has scored exactly 30 points in each of their two victories this year.
Next Week: The Dolphins remain at home for the third consecutive week as they host the Buffalo Bills, just the second divisional game of the season for Adam Gase’s club. Miami is just 1-5 in its last six meetings in this series and a year ago was swept in this rivalry for the second time in three seasons.

Playoff hopes: The Dolphins’ lone victories this season are within the conference and they have still only played one divisional foe, losing at New England in Week 2. Miami welcomes the Bills next week and following their mini-vacation they host the New York Jets. It’s at least an opportunity to get back to the .500 mark if they can hold serve at home.
. 2-4.
