This selection is the biggest steal of the early part of this draft. The 2016 season has undoubtedly been a massive disappointment for the Carolina Panthers, but landing Myles Garrett may be worth the lack of success.

Garrett is arguably the best prospect in the 2017 draft class, and he will undoubtedly make a major impact at the next level. The only reason he is even available at four in this 2017 NFL Mock Draft are the needs of the teams picking above Carolina.

He is an incredibly quick and explosive pass rusher who fits extremely well in today’s NFL. Garrett shows incredible explosion off of the snap, and has the pass rush repertoire to consistently put pressure on the quarterback.

Garrett is not only quick off of the snap, but he is also extremely fast, athletic and shows incredible change of pace quickness. As an outside speed rusher, Garrett is nearly a perfect prospect.

On top of that, he is stronger and more powerful than what you would think. Garrett is not a perfect prospect against the run, but he is not a liability there. He can man-handle opposing offensive lineman and his quickness allows for consistent plays against the run in the backfield.

Perhaps adding to the cornerback position here would be ideal, but the Panthers could not pass up on an opportunity to add Garrett. He is an incredible prospect who could single-handily fix their defensive woes.
