Syracuse (+5.5) over Boston College

I’ve caped for Boston College in the past, but I don’t think this is the year for the Eagles. As a result, I’m going with the road underdog catching more than a field goal. Syracuse isn’t the greatest team in the country, but their issues come more on the defensive side of things and BC isn’t exactly the team that can exploit those concerns to the fullest. It might be a game that the Orange fail to win outright, but keeping the game close seems safe against a team that just can’t score enough to justify this margin.

Stanford (-2) over Colorado

The Buffs cover every week. Yes, every week. It’s time for that to change, though, and this is the spot to do it. I frankly can’t believe I’m giving out Stanford again given the recent history of the results when I do that, but the Cardinal are the right side in laying less than a field goal at home. Colorado is better than I originally thought, but the hate has gone too far on Stanford when more than 65% of the action is on the road underdog without much candy to work with. Give me a rare favorite that everyone hates.
