1-6. Previous: . Chicago Bears. 30. team. 57. John Fox has nothing to hang his hat on in his second season as the head coach. He has no quarterback, a stingy defense, and a limited amount of depth across the board. After Brian Hoyer left with a broken left arm, former USC star Matt Barkley entered and stunk up Lambeau Field. Barkley threw two interceptions after entering in the second quarter and gave Chicago no chance of winning. The Bears have not won a game on the road, and their defense can not get opponents off the field. They were dominated in time of possession Thursday, having control of the ball nearly 20 minutes less than the Packers.
Next Week: Things do not get any easier for the Bears, who play a disgruntled Vikings team on Halloween. While the game will be in Soldier Field, there will be little for the fans to cheers for. They will see either Matt Barkley’s home debut, or a rusty Jay Cutler return from a thumb injury.
Playoff Hopes: You can basically eliminate Chicago from the playoffs at this point five games under five-hundred. They’re scoring less than 16 points per game, and are allowing over 24. This is just another prime example of how you can not build a team through free agency.
