player. 149. The Oklahoma City Thunder may be the most interesting franchise in the NBA next season as they transition away from the Durant and Westbrook era into the Bestbrook era. The Thunder still need to figure out who is going to be a quality scoring option next to Westbrook in the future and what better option that one of college basketball’s best?
Duke’s Grayson Allen has proven to be one of college basketball’s most efficient scorers, finishing last season with the third highest true shooting percentage (61.6 percent) in the country among players who averaged more than 20 points per game. Allen is effective both at the rim where finished 61.1 percent of his shots last season and from behind the arc (41.7 percent). He is comfortable scoring with the ball in his hands or as a secondary option off the ball. Although Duke’s roster is filled with talent this season, Allen should still be the Blue Devils’ primary scoring option.

At 6-foot-4 with a 6-foot-6.5 wingspan, Allen is on the smaller side of NBA quality shooting guards, but he does have enough athleticism to keep up with them defensively. Still, his primary value in the NBA will come on the offensive end where he should be able to generate buckets in a variety of ways.
. SG. Duke. Grayson Allen. 20
