5 possible trade destinations for Alshon Jeffery
1. Arizona Cardinals
Outside of the always-reliable Larry Fitzgerald, Arizona’s wide receiver group is marked with injuries to Michael Floyd (hamstring), John Brown (leg) and Jaron Brown (torn ACL). Floyd may be able to play Week 8 at less than full strength, but John Brown is still iffy and Jaron Brown is obviously out for the season after being injured last Sunday night.
With soon-to-be 37-year-old (Dec. 27) Carson Palmer under center, the Cardinals are clearly in win-now mode. He doesn’t seem to have bounced all the way back from last year’s NFC Championship Game disaster, but Palmer is still a good fit for Bruce Arians’ offense and he needs more proven and consistent downfield weapons.

If the Cardinals trade for Jeffery, Floyd can get on track after a slow start this season and John Brown can get healthy, they would have a potentially dynamic quartet of wide receivers. Running back David Johnson is proving the end of his 2015 rookie season was not a fluke, so the addition of Jeffery would give Arizona arguably the most talent-laden offense in the league just in time for the stretch drive of the regular season.
